Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a political advisor from America who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously been a part of the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant director of communications (2009–2011), the spokesperson of the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a CNN political contributor from 2017 until 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001, when she was working on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. Psaki worked as the director of communications for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012 as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. [20] On February 11 2013 Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State. There was speculation Psaki was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She was a part of the Obama administration until the end of its term.
